All of the blanket and crib set designs at Bug and Bean are designed in house. When you send us your order we will send a proof of design within 48 hours. Those designs are then sent to a professional textile printing company using an immersion dye process. Once received, your item is handmade paying close to the little details that matter. Crocheted items are all handmade. Nursery decor and apparel is either manufactured by Bug and Bean or by one of our partners. Please see details for each product in the products 'about' section. Items are shipped within 2-6 weeks depending on shipping option.
Where are you located?
We are located in the very beautiful Ottawa Valley in Ontario, Canada. Our smooth minky blankets, muslin swaddles, wood decor items, and paper flowers are processed and manufactured out of our facilties in Ontario.
Our plush minky, duvet sets, pillows and jersey fabric options are manufactured at our production facility in Oregon.
Our knot pillows, macrame items, canopies and limited other items are manufactured overseas at our production facility.
How long will it take to receive my order?
All items are made to order. Due to the custom nature of each of our products, our turnaround time is 4-6 weeks. Shipping times are not included in our turnaround time.
Can I rush my order?
Unfortunately rush orders are not available at this time due to COVID-19 restrictions on shipping.

Any duty/customs fees are the responsibility of the customer. These fees are put in place by your country of residence and are not determined by Bug and Bean. Please ensure the address you provide is correct.
My order was lost in transit- What can you do?
If you have an issue with the receipt of your package please check the tracking information. If the package is listed as delivered you must contact your local post office. Bug & Bean Decor is not responsible for packages that are lost in transit or stolen. This is the responsibility of the shipping provider. Do you donate?
Yes! We have partnerships with The Darling Home for Kids and use our Snuggles That Give Back campaign to raise funds for this wonderful facility. Additionally, 20% of profits from our rainbow collection go to the Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto. We donate directly to their Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Network to assist families with the struggles of infant and pregnancy loss.
Can I change my order?
Unfortunately, due to the custom nature of our products - once your order is place it cannot be changed. We will not be able to accommodate any changes or refunds once payment is made. If there is a manufacturers error it will be corrected promptly, free of charge. Please ensure all names are correct as we will print exactly what you provide for your design.
Can I preview my design?
Our website allows you to instantly preview what most of your designs will look like! Once submitted, the design will be tweaked for best fit. A .jpg proof will be sent for your approval within 48 orders of order placement. Once you approve your design the turnaround time begins.
How big are the blankets?
Yes! We have two sizes available with intent to expand into other sizing. Our Snuggle size is perfect for a car seat or stroller. Our Little One size is the perfect size for couch snuggles and fits a crib mattress easily!
How do I wash my item?
All Bug and Bean products should be washed with a phosphate free detergent. Minky blankets should be washed in cold or warm water and tumble dried on low. Other products specify washing instructions on their product page.
